RJ Caster’s fire for politics was stoked by his first job as a congressional staffer, and it has continued to grow over the years.
RJ now brings that passion to Majority Strategies as our Director of Digital Operations.

Why Majority Strategies?
We play to win, and that is a motto I can get behind.
Describe the toughest lesson you’ve ever learned.
Life isn’t a gradual climb towards something better – better job, better pay, etc. You will hit bad stretches, you will have hard times, and you will get through them every time.
Would you consider yourself to have good luck, bad luck or no luck?
I believe you make your own luck, and luck favors the bold.
How many cities have you lived in?
I grew up an Army brat, so I’m not sure whether to call myself a Texas or Maryland native. I’ve called approximately 15 cities, towns and military posts “home” at one point or another.
Tell us about your favorite eats from (one of) your home states.
I love all BBQ, but I really miss Deckhands Oyster Bar in Austin/Round Rock, Texas. I highly recommend it if you’re in the area.
What’s on your bucket list?
To attend the Beyreuth Festival in Germany.
What are some of your hobbies?
I love mountain biking and spending time outdoors. I’m also really interested in political philosophy, so I spend my free time studying up.
Where do you get your news?
Facebook. No joke. I have a great group of passionate and intelligent friends who share news and that helps me see things from all perspectives – and by extension, I get news from a plethora of sources.
What is the last book you read?
The Devil’s Chessboard: Allen Dulles, the CIA, and the Rise of America’s Secret Government by David Talbot.
Describe your greatest accomplishment.
Being the oldest brother to three amazing younger brothers and one awesome kid sister.
Thanks, RJ.
