Graphic Designer Eric Lim has led a life surrounded by different people and cultures. Born in South Korea, Eric and his family moved to Indiana when Eric was a child. Eric graduated from Indiana University and began his graphic design career with Gridiron Communications before joining the Majority Strategies creative team.

What is the toughest lesson you’ve learned?
SPELL CHECK!!! Once I sent a project to the printer forgetting to spell check.

What are your favorite eats from your home state?
I am Korean, so I will just say “Korean BBQ.”

What’s your favorite time of day? When are you most productive?
Bedtime is the best time! But I am most productive in the morning.

Name one of your “weird” hobbies or habits.
I won’t call it weird. I collect Star Wars figurines and Legos and anything Star Wars.

How would your best friend describe you in three words?
Quiet. But. Fun.

How many cities have you lived in?
Not counting cities in Korea, three. South Bend, Indiana. Bloomington, Indiana. Los Angeles, California.

What is your favorite song? And what do you do when it comes on in the car?
“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen is one of my pump-up songs. If no one is in my car and the freeway is open wide, I sing my lungs out.

What motivates you to tackle the day?
Pink Drink from Starbucks.

What’s the best gift/kindest gesture you’ve ever received?
Text messages I get from my grandma that she’s praying for me.
